Chamber of Commerce

The Greensborough Town Centre special levy is managed by the Greensborough Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee. They meet with the Centre Manager Noella Jacobs the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm in the offices of Cugley Ciravolo Bordin to plan and discuss all aspects of developing and improving Greensborough. Elections for this important committee are held each August. New members of the committee are always welcome.

Every 5 years the Chamber of Commerce develops the Greensborough Town Centre business plan with all traders. This plan is updated regularly. The business plan and special levy will be renewed in 2007 to ensure Greensborough continues to grow from strength to strength. This special levy is used to develop and implement the Greensborough Business Plan. In the past it has been used for marketing events, branding advertising of the centre, murals, graffiti removal from trader buildings, branding banners and Christmas decorations. This ensures a good presentation of the area at all times. The special levy funds are also matched dollar for dollar by the Banyule City Council.

Noella’s role is to develop and implement marketing activities that are in line with the Greensborough Business plan marketing objectives. The aim is to attract more people to the Greensborough Shopping and Business Town Centre and to increase community awareness. Noella works closely with businesses, local councils, state government, community groups, police and media to improve the centre. She is always passionate about developing Greensborough and is always available to traders and the community to answer any query.

He is continually upgrading to new equipment and keeping up with technological advances so he and his team have total control over the quality of the product from design through to printing and binding.
